Grande achievement - IMI School Rio Grande Elementary wins national honor

Rio Grande Elementary's track record of academic success has earned it national recognition.
On Friday, the school was officially named a No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School for 2004-05.
Kerri Briggs, representing the U.S. Department of Education, presented an award certificate during a school assembly. The Blue Ribbon School program recognizes schools that make significant progress in closing the achievement gap or whose students achieve at very high levels.
